Crafting Personal and Persuasive Narratives.


Emily Stedge (she/her) is a writer living and working in Pittsburgh, PA, but she's also called Philadelphia and Youngstown home. Her work can be found in South Dakota Review, Litro Magazine, and Touchstone Literary Magazine, and forthcoming in the tiny journal and Feminine Collective. Her essays explore themes such as grief in its many forms, generational trauma, home and belonging, and climate crisis/anxiety.


Emily Stedge has over 7 years of non-profit experience at Pittsburgh Center for Arts & Media, where she has served as Education Coordinator, Education Program Manager, and Director of Education and Communications during her tenure. In her current role, she oversees the organization’s education program, managing departmental operations for four seasonal terms of up to 90 adult and youth education classes, serving between 600 and 700 students per term. She also drafts and distributes organizational communications such as fundraising appeals, newsletters, and press releases.
